They participate with the Maya, the Mapuche, Aymara, Quechua and others, in the renaissance of Latin American Indigenous movements, and the emergence of an Amerindian cosmopraxis that challenges Western paradigms and proposes an alternative modernity

Born in 1975, in the indigenous territory of Caicemapa, La Guajira, Colombia. She is the author of Manifiesta no saber firmar (Unable to sign his name), and Encierro de una doncella (Reclusion of a maiden), and other stories that have won national and international prices. She has participated in international events in Venezuela and Canada. She is a lawyer and clothes designer.
Born in 1961, in La Laguna del Pájaro, Venezuela. He is the author of Iitakaa (Ithaca,1993), Ñüñüiki Ka’ikai (Language of the Sun, 2006), and Jayeechiirua je kasa Sujutumaajatüirua tü Eiikaa Mma (Offerings to Mother Earth, 2007). He has received various awards and has participated extensively in international events. He is a sociologist. Works with the cultural ministry of the state of Zulia, Venezuela.
Born in 1965, in Carraipía, La Guajira, Colombia. He is the author of Contrabandeo sueños con arijunas cercanos (I smuggle dreams with close Westerners, 1996), Encuentros en los senderos de Abya-Yala (Encounters on the Paths of America, Casa de las Américas Price in Havana, 2000), and En las hondonadas maternas de la piel (Beneath the Maternal Skin, 2010). He is a political and cultural activist in Riohacha, La Guajira, Colombia.
