From foundational spatial data processing to the latest trends in the industry such as using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), you’ll explore GIS technology, tools, and strategy.

INFO SYSTEMS SECURITY Now is the time to enter the growing field of cybersecurity—a high-demand industry facing a major talent shortage as our society becomes more interconnected. Learn to navigate cybersecurity challenges as you develop technical and leadership skills.

MOBILE APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT Ready to launch or advance your career as a mobile app developer? Use the latest programming languages and frameworks to design and develop mobile applications. Determine best practices used in browser-based and packaged apps, cross-platform app development, third-party native extensions, and distribution to app stores.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT Gain practical experience in using the tools and techniques of effective project management in a program developed to parallel the PMI® Project Management Body of Knowledge Guide. Through the use of hands-on case studies and project management software, you will learn to apply agile concepts, design risk-management plans, and assess project contracts.

ELECTIVE COURSES Electives may be chosen from among all courses in the Information and Communications Technology program. You may also select courses from other University College graduate programs with approval from the academic director. Your academic advisor will help you select electives that align with your career and personal goals, and your advisor will obtain any necessary approvals from the academic director.

SOFTWARE DESIGN AND PROGRAMMING Learn how to develop web-based applications from start to finish while advancing your skills at software design and programming.
