If you study in your home country, all degrees and certificates can be completed 100% online with no trip to campus required. If you wish to relocate to Denver and study on a student visa, you are required to register for two courses per term, one of which must be on campus. Students who wish to study in Denver on an F-1 visa are required to provide proof of funds to cover tuition and living expenses for their first year of study.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT RESOURCES STUDENT SUPPORT Whether receiving an in-house transcript evaluation before applying to a program or seeking academic guidance while enrolled, you’ll have access to support during your time at the University of Denver. Our international admission specialist and a dedicated academic advisor will help you from the time you apply through to graduation!

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT SUPPORT PROGRAM Brought to you by Morneau Shepell and the University of Denver, the International Student Support Program (ISSP) is free to use and offers online resources and International Student Support Counselors that can help you succeed while studying in the United States. You can connect with an International Student Counselor who speaks your language, understands your culture and can help you address the unique challenges you face when studying in another country.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT AND SCHOLAR SERVICES International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) supports internationalization at the University of Denver by serving as a resource to meet the needs of the international community on campus. Services include immigration and cultural adjustment advising, issuance of immigration documents, authorizations, and certification letters, advocacy, orientation workshops, and cultural and social activities.

WRITING CENTER The University Writing Center offers writing support, resources, and programming for all students. We believe that all writers benefit from having conversations about their writing: to generate ideas, talk through arguments, develop new habits and practices, and learn to see their writing in new ways. Make a 45-minute consultation online or in person. Learn more at www.du.edu/writing/writingcenter.

CPT/OPT SUPPORT Immigration regulations restrict employment eligibility for F-1 and J-1 students, and it can be challenging to navigate the different options. We’re here to help you! You’ll receive advising on Curricular Practical Training (CPT), which authorizes an F-1 student to engage in an on- or off-campus paid training that is integral to or required for the academic program or Optional Practical Training (OPT), which authorizes an F-1 student to engage in practical training for up to one year, generally following the completion of studies.
