The French luxury brand’s new, larger space offers more opportunity to showcase additional Hermès collections and create a more customer-centric shopping experience. The 7,100-square-foot space welcomes shoppers through three different entrances and boasts an intimate VIP area for private shopping, as well as a bar where customers can fully unwind. Designed by Parisian architecture agency RDAI, the store mimics Costa Mesa’s stunning landscape by incorporating organic curved sculptures, soft earth tones and natural materials. The signature Hermès silk collection offers a colorful greeting, followed by the leather salon and dazzling women’s jewelry space. The U-shaped design allows an effortless flow for shoppers to explore everything from the home and equestrian collections to perfume and beauty collections. Accented by terrazzo flooring and rich terracotta ceramic walls adorned with artwork by Filipe Jardim, Suzel Caspard and Marion Dubier Clark, the artistic details of the new Hermès store are nothing short of visionary. hermes.com
The new Breitling boutique at South Coast Plaza is a continuation of the Swiss luxury watchmaker’s celebration of aviation, exploration, cinema and sport. The industrial loft aesthetic of the new 850-square-foot space will offer visitors a modernretro atmosphere. The décor draws from Breitling’s three universes: air, sea and land. From motorcycles to surfboards incorporated into the design alongside a watch bar and lounge area, visitors are invited to discover Breitling timepieces at their leisure. breitling.com
Italian jewelry and watch company Buccellati has opened a new jewel-box store at South Coast Plaza. Celebrated for its signature jewelry designs using traditional hand-engraving techniques inspired by archival drawings from founder Mario Buccellati, the brand’s new boutique echoes those values through its color palette and furnishings. “As Buccellati expands our presence in America and specifically on the West Coast, South Coast Plaza was the clear choice for the brand,” says fourth-generation family member and co-creative director Lucrezia Buccellati. “We are looking forward to deepening our connection to our existing clientele in California and nurturing new relationships in Orange County.” The South Coast Plaza outpost boasts warm tones, clean lines and a quintessential Italian elegance that perfectly complements its jewelry collections. Clients can peruse the iconic Buccellati collections like Hawaii, Macri, Ramage, Rombi and Opera, as well as one-of-a-kind timepieces, silver centerpieces, flatware, tableware and giftware. buccellati.com
