Welcome to one of the first International Boarding Schools in China, offering state-of-theart facilities in a safe and supportive environment. My experience at Dulwich College London has shown me that boarders consistently outperform day students, achieving on average 50% better grades. With specific times to concentrate on their studies, tutors on hand to guide them and the advantage of world class facilities, I firmly believe it’s the perfect framework for achieving high academic standards. At Dulwich, we offer a caring and supportive house where students’ individual needs are well looked after. This ensures they are fully prepared for the demands of academic life as well as for life after school. Together with the support of my wife and the help of our experienced tutors, I look forward to welcoming your child to an outstanding boarding environment where they can learn and grow beyond their expectations. a place to learn,

Our educational philosophy places equal emphasis on our students’ intellectual and personal development. The curriculum is designed to help our students develop an appetite for knowledge and learning. But our students are also encouraged to participate in an extensive range of extra-curricular activities particularly in Drama, Sports, Music and Art.
Being on site, our boarders have access to all of our facilities including the aquatics centre, fitness studio, dance studio, theatre, library, sports fields, gym and music rooms. Without the pressures of a daily commute our boarders not only have time for extra guided study they can take full advantage of our wide range of after school and weekend activities.
“ When we first considered boarding for our daughter Diana, we had our doubts as we thought we could take better care of her at home. However, we are delighted to say she couldn’t be happier and can now really focus on her studies. She’s also made some very good friends.” Diana’s Mother
we make sure they never feel far from you and you from them For most parents, the biggest factor about sending their child to boarding school is that they will miss them. But with modern boarding, it’s easier than ever to keep in touch. Parents, and the Houseparents in charge of boarding houses, are in constant reassuring contact by phone, e-mail, Skype or WeChat and your son or daughter can join you for dinner or even come home during the week. With full boarding, weekly or even flexible boarding it’s what works best for you and your child that’s most important.
There are a myriad of cultural, sporting and social after-school activities for your child to get involved in. From drums to chess and from ballet to badminton.
flexible boarding options to meet ever
changing needs
Alleyn House can accommodate 180 international students from 11 to 18 years of age. The Housemaster and his family live in the House with the students and are further supported by visiting tutors and gap year students. Every evening boarders complete up to 3 hours of supervised study and, unlike their day student counterparts, they still have time to pursue their interests outside the classroom. We offer our boarders the flexibility to stay for the full term, on a weekly basis or on a day-to-day basis. Being able to stay in the House during exam times, for example, can be a great advantage giving extra concentrated study time and tutor support.
FULL BOARDING Seven days a week during term time. WEEKLY BOARDING Five or six nights a week with students spending their weekends back at home. FLEXI-BOARDING Arranged on an ad hoc basis as needed to provide extra support during exam time or when parents have to travel.
tradition Suzhou, where
meets innovation
Located only a 30 minute train ride from Shanghai, Suzhou is a dynamic metropolis where modernity and tradition sit happily side by side. In contrast to Shanghai, Suzhou has less traffic and is less crowded but still has a thriving expat community with many of the top Fortune 500 companies based here. Suzhou is over 2,500 years old with canals, stone bridges, pagodas and ancient gardens dating back to the Song Dynasty. There are many cultural riches to explore but the city is also known as one of the most innovative cities in China with good rail links, an underground metro system, chic modern apartments, world-class golf courses, fashionable shopping malls and a vast array of local and international dining options.
“ I’ve found boarding really great. Everyone is extremely friendly to me and teachers and students are always there to help me with my homework. Also, best thing is, I don’t need to wake up till breakfast at 7:30am. No more catching the bus! ” Marianne, Student, Year 7 Dulwich College Suzhou
