ATTRIBUTES

- I have been tasked with difficult or demanding projects that require a thorough involvement and the ability to negotiate complex situations that require a good understanding of design principals, product knowledge and regulations. - In 1994 I was given my first P.C. on my 12th birthday, since then computers have been a fascination and interest of mine, furnishing me with valuable experience not only in the general use, but with the added opportunities to carry out maintenance, problem solving, tuning, upgrading, repairing and building P.C.s over the years. I often experiment with new software and applications, taking note of the pro’s and con’s, along with the technological advancements, increased productivity and time saving opportunities. - Computer graphics is as much a fascination as an interest of mine. I have gained experience with various 2D and 3D design packages, such as Corel Draw Suite 13, Paint Shop Pro, Adobe CS2, Autodesk ADT, Autodesk 3DS Max, Graphisoft ArchiCAD, and Trimble Sketchup. I am currently working through a self paced study in the Autodesk Revit Suite, with the focus on the use and implementation of B.I.M. (Building Information Modelling) throughout the project. ACTIVITIES

- I have an interest in the German language and culture and have recently returned from my third trip to Germany, this time visiting Bremen, Hanover and Hamburg. I have made several friends within North and South Germany and plan to return to visit them as well as a tour of Europe via my trusty VW bus. I enjoy travelling and the experience it brings of other cultures, which I like to actively try to participate and learn the local dialect and customs. - I enjoy cycling and in 2014 set a new personal boundary cycling from Bournemouth to Chichester and then a few months later I completed the 2014 B.H.F. London to Brighton bike ride, and Yes I did beat the Beacon. - I have a passion for VW campers and beetles and like to attend the more traditional events. - I like to keep up to date with local and global news and weather and other interests of mine such as Astronomy, Science, Technology and Space related subjects and will always find the time to watch a documentary or read an article. - I am a big believer in 3D, virtual reality and augmented reality and I believe that computer games are just one avenue in which this technology is providing endless advancements. I have ideas for the adaptation and use of this technology within the design and construction industry and hopefully one day will be able to provide this as a design aid and service to clients that struggle to visually grasp the limited boundaries 2D media offers.
