“We had a successful Darkness Into Light event this year as we raised thousands of euro between participation and donations,” said Mark.
“our next event is a Barn Dance at Deeside Agri just off the M1 Junction 14 near Ardee on Saturday.
“It’s due to take place on the 1st July and will feature Nigel Livingston, Fuzzy Burgers and will be headlined by Jimmy Buckley. the event will have a food village and bar as well.” he added: “We provide a mobile counselling service at the weekends where two fully qualified counsellors are available in a camper van parked discreetly at a Credit union or GAA pitch in the villages around County Louth where someone who needs help can talk to a counsellor in complete confidence.
“We have an innovative approach. We are very discreet. People can go in and chat to our counsellors. We have paid for 190 hours of counselling to date at a cost of €20 per hour per person.”
