AFTER HIS WORST showing since the start of his Formula 1 career in 2019, Hülkenberg found himself without a contract for the 2020 season. This was the start of three seasons as a reserve driver, starting with the BWT Racing Point F1 Team and ending with the Aston Martin team. When I say ended, it’s on purpose, as he signed a contract with the Haas F1 Team for 2023 to become a full-time driver alongside Kevin Magnussen. This move was made possible due to a vacant spot left by the departure of Mick Schumacher. Now, Hülkenberg is back on the starting grid to do what he loves most: race. With three rookies, plenty of shake-ups, and the return of Hülkenberg, the 2023 season is set to be a must watch.
