Kendall Mountain Ski Area offers a laid-back and family-friendly atmosphere for frozen fun. The recreation area includes 11 runs for skiers and snowboarders, two sledding hills and an ice rink for free skating. Equipment is also available to rent or purchase on-site. 11th Street Station is a nice spot to wind down with a wide variety of food trucks, sure please even the pickiest of eaters. Swing by the fullservice bar to browse a beverage menu of mixed drinks and regional drafts.

Golden Block Brewery in Silverton matches that family-friendly vibe of Kendall Mountain. The wood-fired pizza makes it the perfect option for pleasing a whole crew.

Durango Ski & Patio is the place to find the perfect patio furniture for outdoor entertainment, located just half a mile west of town on Highway 160. The storefront features high-end brands and friendly customer service. The store also offers rental equipment for snow adventures.

Barz Decorative Hardware in Silverton, owned by Peter Barszcz, offers incredible custom creations.
