Taking time out from the workplace to be immersed in academic life enables executives to: • explore fresh perspectives • understand the latest academic theories • gain practical tools and concepts to apply theory to the workplace. Through this learning you will improve organisational performance and move your business forward by realising: • quality improvements • innovations • strategic plans • new ideas.
‘As a graduate of DUBS, the application of the models and methodologies learned at the Business School enabled me to act as an internal management consultant, and formed the basis of the business plan that turned our business around and gave me the confidence to carry this forward. Since I graduated in 2008 we have encouraged and financially supported four other postgraduate courses for employees, the most recent colleague studying a part-time Masters at Durham University Business School. The impact on both myself and our business left us with no doubt that this is one of best investments we could both make.’
