Conversations in Quarantine

Epiphany Term was fantastic for theatre – over 2,000 audience members saw Durham Student Theatre shows over a period of just five days! Highlights included three productions in the Gala Theatre: Durham Opera Ensemble’s Die Fledermaus; Durham University Light Opera Group’s Singin’ In The Rain; and The Durham Revue’s annual ComedyFest. Students were also involved in the 44th year of the Durham Drama Festival, a week-long celebration of student writing, amazing workshops and networking opportunities with professionals such as actor Alex Bhat and director Peter Bradley. Fourth Walls Theatre’s Killology was selected for the National Student Drama Festival – the fifth year running that Durham has been represented at this prestigious festival.
