WHY TO CHOOSE SOLAR THERMAL TECHNOLOGY ? • Pakistan is has the 6th largest solar radiation availability, 14 hours average daily with 1800~2200 KWh per square meter with an annual sunshine duration 8~8.5 hours. • If 0.25% of Baluchistan is used for solar generation with efficiency of 20% would produce enough electricity to cover all Pakistan demand •Solar Thermal Power system is need of time for farmers and for remote locations which can be operated with little maintenance or intervention after initial setup. • Once the initial capital cost of building the plant has been spent, operating cost are low when compared to existing technologies.
