This empty room with strips of acetate hanging from thin nylon wires which were tied between two opposite walls, like clothes-hanging rope, was the location of my immersive Space. The idea was to have the viewer step in with the lights on, experience the real space - an unremarkable room with four white walls and a regular ceiling. Familiarise themselves with this rigid architectural space which did not seem to have the capability to be more exciting within the next thirty seconds, for the next four minutes. Once the night descends upon the city, it’s a completely different place. Even when looking out through the window in your room, the city is an Immersive Space.
