ABOUT ME My name is Dustin, I’ am 22 years old banchelor of architecture. Ever since the first year of architecture education i had an interest towards breaking down conceptual ideas into tangibel form and elements. Humans always die every day. It also happened in the city of Bandung with a dense population. When a human dies there is a series of ceremonies that must be performed, this requires adequate facilities. In Bandung itself, it has a builtin facility, but there are issues about the distance between these facilities.
Located near Bandung chinatown, Bandung Funeral Home provides facilities for funeral services such as crematorium, columbarium, and funeral ceremony. So that the family and relative can be facilitated in conducting the funeral ceremony without giving more burden by providing all facilities for funeral The obvious dilemma in Bandung was the dilemma of social problem: How to solve the problem of death of the existing population every day?

SITE Site is near the crossroads that make the shape of a building that has one center, as a link between the right and left side of the mass of the building.
BUILDING FORM Adjustments to the shape of the building to show the connection between the building and the surrounding environment in order to be equal,
URBAN VALUE There’s an effort to support urban areas around the site by placing public parks adjacent to the columnar behind buildings that are accessible to anyone and open to the public, so that the function of the building as a funeral home is not visible directly from the outside and makes a different impression on most funeral homes

The proximity between the street and the building, influenced, amongst other things, the fact that this area known as business distrct that has become an urban context in constant evolution that seeks cosmopolitan lifestyle. The site planning design prioritize the urban activity around main building, trying to blen in with surrounding buildings that can be categorized as old buildings. It is desired that the building can become the one of the centers for the community to be able to move in public places with a public park.

GROUND FLOOR The owner wants the building to look simple but can attract people to enter the shop. The front facade is made transparent and clear so that the inside and outside areas can interact with each other.

GEHENNA COFEE is a coffee shop in the Bandung area which is located close to the education area. Based on selling coffee the owner trying to make a place that reflects the area in the Tamansari area. Filled with trees and shaded areas, the outdoor is designed to meet outdoor activities as well as active seating for customers.

PROGRAM VOLUME First insticnt was to create a special space in the middle surrounded by a large mass
