The late Wim Crouwel has been praised as the most important Dutch graphic designer after 1945; he was also director of the prestigious Museum Boymans Van Beuningen for 8 years. Crouwel, born 1928, died in September 2019.
These pages are from my book Dutch Type, first published in 2004 and reprinted in 2018 under my imprint DrukEditions.com. They were based on meticulous research, and interviews with Wim Crouwel and several of his colleagues.
