CERTIFIED AMERICAN GROWN

FRESHBLOOMS IS YOUR TRUSTED AMERICAN GROWN DISTRIBUTOR

FreshBlooms has become the first distributor to earn Certified American Grown status. This latest certification by Certified American Grown marks a notable shift from the program’s focus on farm production to now include the floral industry’s supply chain process and related companies. “With over half of all domestic production now participating in Certified American Grown, the program is in a great position to bring valuable marketing opportunities to our partners like FreshBlooms,” explained Certified American Grown Administrator Kasey Cronquist. For 30 years, FreshBlooms has provided fresh flowers and floral supplies to supermarkets in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions, with nationwide capabilities. Headquartered in Sewell, New Jersey, FreshBlooms offers a wide variety of consumer bunches, mixed bouquets and grower bunches domestically and from around the world. FreshBlooms ships from it’s New Jersey HQ utilizing their own transportation fleet, as well as from Miami, Florida utilizing third party logistics. FreshBlooms’ unique operation and systems allowed the company to meet the certification standards and pass the third-party onsite audit process required to achieve the Certified American Grown status. FreshBlooms’ identity preservation system has been third-party audited and verified by Where Food Comes From to guarantee customers that FreshBlooms can accurately segment, track and maintain the brand identity of Certified American Grown flowers and greens from farm to customer delivery. “FreshBlooms provides their customers with a third-party guarantee that the flowers and greens they are purchasing and marketing as Certified American Grown were grown and assembled in the United States,” explained Cronquist. “We’re excited to be the first distributor to be Certified American Grown”, shared Rene Quinn, Vice President of FreshBlooms. “The consumer wants to support products that were grown and produced by American farmers, so supermarkets want to offer and promote American Grown in their stores. It’s a fantastic program and one we and our customers are eager to support and develop in the future”.
