Week 7 Money Hunting Yes, we need funds to fund our great technology-enhanced ideas! Keep your eyes open for various funding agencies, review the samples of winning proposals (they are often made available), find somebody to work on the proposal together to make it stronger. Important: follow the guidelines and make sure you do the format your funding agency requires. Otherwise, your proposal will be simply rejected.
Speaking about format: 1. Make sure your links are hyperlinked and open in anew window. See tutorials in the course Bb under Misc. 2. When you provide references, you need to do them in APA6. As many of your sources are web-based, this Writing Lab website is very helpful, showing various types of eresources and ways to format it. 3. When you do prezi or present.me, the basic rules for ppt apply. Please do not put more than 20 words per slide (ideally 12-15); present.me, being linear, should have slide numbers for easier navigation. 4. It is great that you use video to support your findings. Several tips and advice can be found under TechModule A. Especially pay attention at suggestions for lighting in the room, your dress, eye contact, background, and other important details.
I am very pleased to see the variety of formats: prezi, wix, present.me, xtranormal, and others. I actually had fun reviewing your work! While you are using all these cool tools, take a mental note of what might work well for your capstone project. And practice, practice, practice.
