Riders met in Greyton on Saturday for registration at the Old Potter’s Inn, where they later relaxed and enjoyed what can only be described as a mini Oktoberfest as they were treated to music by the famous German band Wurstzipfel.

They also had the opportunity to enjoy traditional German food and delicious craft beers before getting a good night’s rest for the race on Sunday. The last of the riders arrived early in Greyton on Sunday morning for registration before the race began at 07:00 from Uitkyk Primary School.
