Keeping the water naturally pure – no chemicals are added – makes The Caledon Spa’s natural warm mineral pools unique. The distinctive brown colour of the water is due to high iron content, known as chalybeate. When the water reaches the surface, rapid oxidation takes place and gives the distinct smell and colour of the water. The iron particles are a natural body exfoliation and the oily layers found on the surface of the pools, depending on weather conditions, are a natural moisturiser to the skin.

Space at the natural, warm, mineral pools is limited, therefore, we advise you to reserve your place in advance, particularly over weekends, as well as public and school holidays, to avoid disappointment. The Natural Warm Mineral Baths are open Monday to Sunday. Come and relax and enjoy the warm water on Monday from 12:00 to 19:00 and Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 19:00.
