The Black Panter: The Choir of Ghosts
VOL.2 Dýrfinna Benita Garðarsdóttir
Dedicated to Garðar H. Björgvinsson
“You tell me who your friends are and I will tell you who you are.”
One grey day The Panther was out on sea. He had been fishing the whole day since sunrise. He was getting tired. So he decided to head to dry land.
The sun had fallen and a dark misty fog lay on top of the surface of the dark sea.
The Panthers eyes were getting slowly heavy and soon he would dive into slumber while still seated at the steering wheel.
It grew darker and the waves formed into ghost that closed in on the boat...but The Panther was not bothered for he was sound asleep.
Then all of the sudden the ghost started singing! Their voices where eerie but beautiful and they swam in circles round the boat.
At last!; He woke up, in panic. For it was not a regular thing to hear a song so loud at sea.
When he looked out his window, he saw a huge cargoship heading full speed in his direction.
He did not think twice that moment and grabbed the wheel and managed to swerve from the ships way, just in time!
The Ghosts of the sea where gone, but he knew that his life had been saved.
He thanked the ocean for sparing his life and manged to get to shore safe and sound.
