LOCATION: DUNHUANG,CHINA

The Mogao Caves, located in Dunhuang at the western end of the Hexi Corridor. The Dunhuang Grottoes are a three-dimensional art that combines architecture, sculpture and murals. However, they are very vulnerable to damage from the outside world, such as foreigners stealing the treasures inside the caves, being used as prisons for bandits during times of war, and being eroded by sandstorms. And even in modern times, the viewing behavior of tourists will also bring changes to the humidity and temperature inside the cave. So some experts predict that the Mogao Caves will disappear after 50-100 years. But the main content of the Mogao Caves is Buddhism, and one of the important elements of its teachings is not to rely too much on the changes or destruction of the shell, but to focus on the spirit into the face of the practice. So I am thinking whether Mogao Grottoes can exist in a new form after 100 years.

We have found that two groups of people in society have serious mental health problems. The first category is farmers. The government has carried out urban expansion and absorbed farmers into the city, but most of them are unable to adapt to city life and do not have corresponding jobs, leading to serious mental health problems. The second category is people in urban centres, where people lack exercise. What if an industry was created in the urban extension where farmers practised mechanised agriculture to provide fresh crops for the city people who came to play. The urban crowd used to start a sporting event industry that attracted rural people to come here to play sports. These two groups serve each other and heal each other's hearts.

This project proposes to build a new children's hospital, which is a comprehensive specialized medical institution specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases in young children from the age of 14 (or 18) and under, as well as carrying out child prevention and health care work. Our original intention in this project was to use landscape intervention in the architectural environment to provide psychological counseling and healing for children. At the same time, the project is actively utilizing sustainable building structures, adopting green planting at both the horizontal and internal levels, and actively using landscapes to heal psychology.

I was born in Jingzhou, Hubei Province. This place was called the State of Chu in ancient times. Our culture is characteristic, romantic and long, but it is always different from the culture of the Central Plains in history. So our Chu culture is always swallowed up or destroyed by the Central Plains culture, and the establishment of the Three Gorges Dam is the biggest persecution of the Chu culture, resulting in the rise of the Yangtze River water level and the flooding of countless people's homes，So I plan to build a tower before the Three Gorges Dam is built，which satirize the Han culture, eliminating other cultures, and seal it in a museum for people to watch. The meaning of amber is similar to my architectural concept, so I have established two kinds of space, one is the space that drowns the traditional customs of the people before, and the other is the space that can only be sealed for viewing after being f looded
