As the world opens up again, I am reminded of the integral influence travel has on our designs and creations here at Eadie Lifestyle. After over 2 years away from my 2nd home, India, I jumped on the first flight I could, to immerse myself once again, in the colours, food, vibrancy, energy and artisanship that envelops Indian culture like a glove. I fell in love, all over again, with our team abroad. Their brilliant artistry, their incredible work ethic, their undying loyalty and pride for what they create; their authenticity and love of family.

Sereno is inspired by my experience travelling again, after the world paused. In August, I travelled to France and Greece to celebrate my honeymoon. Again, sensory overload. It was like the joy of travel came to me in such a concentrated form. My senses were awakened and my experiences were polarised. Everything was magnified. It was like a switch flicked inside of me and I saw things with a supersonic lens.

I marvelled at the raw and barren landscape of Greece, the rock formations, the beautiful coastline, the simple, fresh food, beaming with rich colour, the graceful native flowers that managed to sprout their beauty despite the arid conditions. I wandered the streets of Paris, in love with being in love and drinking up the history, the sophistication, the beauty and the culture. I was reminded life is short. Experience is rich. The world is a marvel.

Whether we travel near or far, there is a common thread. We seek and appreciate beauty, individualism, comfort and serenity. Sereno is my expression of this. It celebrates the awakening of our senses.

We have raised the bar this season. Our designs and fabrics are amongst the most exclusive we have ever developed. We celebrate culture, by taking you to Kashmir with our new Fylix cushion, where you can experience the wonder of the local’s hand embroidery skills, past down by generations over thousands of years. Kashmir grown wool, spun and dyed by hand and transformed into an artwork, with each cushion taking 3 days to embroider.

Our beautiful Marco series; deluxe, chunky, highly texturised cushions, throws and bath mats that ooze sophistication and wrap you in a comforting hug. We celebrate our beloved Carter series, now available in Natural and Black. There’s a number of beautiful new accent cushions including Petra, Chia and Amay (to name a few), each with their own story to tell through texture, weave and detailed finishes.

We have extended our bedding range this season to include Mayla, our handwoven beauty, in the most delicious oversized bed cover, along with our stunning reversible linen quilts, inspired by the effortless chic found in a Parisian bedroom.

Our hero colours this season are aligned to the colours of the earth, warm rich textures of rust and camel, natural beige tones, bought to life with classic white and black.

The Heirloom throws, each and everyone hand knitted with love and joy by beautiful women in remote Indian Villages – singing together and laughing as they knit, in their homes as a group.

We have also extended our table top and kitchen offering to include new styles of table clothes, napkins, tea towels and aprons, celebrating the joy of food and the nurturing of loved ones through it’s preparation and presentation.

Our love affair with raw, handwoven linen continues, with the introduction of Cavalier, Granita and Ravo, each rich in texture and hand skill magic. The handwoven Raffine series, pays homage to our amazing planet, by using recycled linen and cotton, a fabric we will be using more and more to lessen our footprint. And as always, we are committed to being kind to the environment. All of our fabrics are OEKO-TEX® and GOTS certified.
