Central Park Commons
Central Park Commons The largest Twin Cities retail center to open in the past two years is right here in Eagan! Central Park Commons was built on a new wave of retailers that have entered the Twin Cities over the past two years including Hy-Vee, which is Eagan’s newest and biggest grocery store sizing up to nearly 100,000 square feet. Along with Hy-Vee, shoppers will be delighted to find stores like Hobby Lobby, Total Wine and Sierra Trading Post, a discount sporting goods retailer. Shopping isn’t the only thing you can do at Central Park Commons, come spring of 2017, you can also satisfy your hunger that is bound to strike. This new development will also feature hot concepts in fast-casual food such as Naf Naf Grill, Café Zupas, Piada Italian Street Food and R Taco. You can’t forget about a Minnesota favorite — Punch Pizza is also gracing Eagan with its delicious presence. With the addition of this 434,000-square-foot shopping district, Eagan has been recently coined with the term, “retail powerhouse,” and we couldn’t agree more.

Bald Man Brewing Eagan’s first brewery and taproom, Bald Man Brewing, has a mission, “Bringing together our passions for fresh artisan beer, family & friends and great rock music to build a new brewery like no other. With style.” Bald Man opened its doors in August and has been rockin’ and rollin’ ever since, packing the beautifully open space with first-timers, regulars, family and friends. Tristan Kusnierek is the bald man behind the beer and he has been an avid brewer since the early 90s. His vision finally came to life with the help of his family so you could say it’s a family affair, even the taproom is family friendly with board games for all ages and outdoor games like bags on the back patio. The spacious bar has multiple ordering stations and although there is a partition, visitors can still check out the brewery equipment and watch the magic happen before their eyes. Music is at the core of the brand, hence the names of their beer which include Tupelo Honey Brown Ale, Young American Pale Ale and Blinded by the Light Blonde. Having a brewery in Eagan is a win, but the best part is that it’s right across the street from Eagan’s Twin Cities Premium Outlets! Shopping and beer — what could be better?
