Internship Work

While working for The Disruption Consultancy and TBWA Hong Kong I did a variety of projects. This project consisted of making a set of 4 x 7 cards that represented brands of the past and the future for our client, The Peace Hotel in Shanghai.

These ads were completed for and used by Citibank in Hong Kong. They were created for local use and in Citibank offices.

This ad was created in conjunction with a campaign in which Bloomberg Television was trying to reposition its image in the global market. It wanted to be seen as more than just business television.

BK Angus Burger :60 Radio “Burger Envy” SFX: POLICE SIRENS. SOUND GRADUALLY INCREASES AS IF GETTING NEARER TO THE SCENE. WE HEAR A CAR DOOR SLAM AND THEN THE SIREN SLOWLY FADES OUT AS THE DIALOGUE BEGINS. Police Officer: What seems to be the problem here sir? Man 1: Oh god. It was so horrifying. I was attacked! Police Officer: Okay sir. Calm down. Why don’t you explain to me exactly what happened. Man 1:Well I came to the park to eat lunch with my friend Tony. I saw Tony sitting here at this picnic table so I came to join him. Next, I sat down and pulled out my food and put it on the table and the next thing I know, WHAM. I’ve been hit and am sprawled out on the ground. Police: Hmm. Okay, can you describe your assailant to me please sir? Man 2: I know who it was. It was Tony! One minute we’re sitting there having a nice conversation, pulling out our lunches, and the next I’m flat on the ground and I see Tony sprinting into the woods with my lunch! Police: You said the incident took place after you pulled out your food? Man: Yes officer. Police: Sir, what did you have in your lunch? Man: A new Angus Steak Burger from Burger King. Police: Ahh, sir. What we have here is a simple case of burger envy. Your burger simply to much too handle for poor Tony. When you pulled out that 1/3 pound of 100% fine Angus beef it was just too much for Tony to handle. Don’t worry, we’ll take care of Tony and you just be careful who you decide to eat with now on. ANNCR: Don’t let burger envy get you into trouble. Come into your nearest Burger King and grab the new Angus Steak Burger. 1/3 pound patty of the finest 100% angus beef is sure to satisfy all your cravings. [pause] Taste the Difference.
