Description

M.series

Product Information General notes EAO, the expert in Human Machine Interfaces, is proud to introduce the M.series keypad range, designed to operate in varied environments and which can be used in different applications. The main advantage of this keypad system is its flexibility in terms of mechanical characteristics. These include for example, choice of illumination, colour and shape of keys, and tactile feel (membrane with carbone pills or domes on the PCB for instance), amongst others. The high flexibility of the features of the M.series allows them to be suitable for many applications: - Access control - Banking (spezial security system) - Telecom - Transport - Vending - Security The keypads are resistant to diesel, dome versions only. Tamper resistance: The PCB is inside the housing for added security, and there are security loops integrated for the Banking version. A fast prototyping is possible. Mounting The keypad is mounted from the rear, with different options possible: - Mounting kit available from EAO, with 2 mounting clips made of ABS polycarbonate. - 4 holes in the back of the housing of the keypad for customised integration. Metal screws diameter 2.5 mm required for direct fastend connection for thermoplastic. Keys The anti pull-off keys are highly resistant to shock and a guiding system prevents sticking and anti-twisting keys. The standard colour is natural (grey), other key tops are available in green, red and yellow. A choice of key shapes and dimensions is available. Marking The keys are laser engraved for high flexibilty Standard character font: Tiresias, other fonts available on request. Illumination Illuminated versions in yellow (standard), blue, red, green, and white. Due to a unique patented system, EAO can customise the colour of the illumination without additional development costs. Luminosity and wave length scattering caused by the technology used in the LED manufacturing processes may lead to visual differences in our products.
