Welcome conference participants! Please wear your conference badge at all times. If you use a school phone for an internal number, dial the extension directly.

For a school lockdown, please go indoors and: * lock the door, turn off the lights and go to an area of the room away from windows or glass doors. Turn off cell phone ringers and wait patiently and quietly for an announcement that the lockdown is over.

Campus Departure (check conference schedule for departure times): • Buses are available for delegates who indicated they will utilise transport to the conference hotels; The Novotel Impact, Best Western Wanda Grand and the IBIS. • Buses will transport up to 54 delegates to the Sanam Pao BTS station for those going downtown or going south on the BTS line. • You can call your own taxi service and ask them to pick you up at the main school gate. • Small school vans will transport delegates to Central Chaengwattana Shopping Mall.

Getting to ISB

From the Sukhumvit area, take the Expressway north to the Chaengwattana exit. Exit left towards Pakkret. Turn left on the Pakkret Bypass road, just before Big C and HomePro. Proceed to the end of the Bypass road, then turn left onto Samakee Road. Proceed approximately 500 meters and turn left into the Nichada Thani community at the large Nichada Thani sign. At the 7-11 the road will curve right, then take an immediate left into the Nichada Thani gate. Go straight ahead to ISB. Please bring two photo ID’s to exchange, one for Nichada Thani security and one for ISB Security.

Transportation Possibilities

International School Bangkok is located 17 km northwest of Bangkok in Nichada Thani. The campus is accessible to visitors through the main entrance only. • Here are the directions (see getting to ISB) allowing access to our campus. • You have the option of printing those directions in multiple languages– consider printing this in Thai if you are using a taxi service.

In an effort to ease your transition to/from school each day of the conference the following options are available for conference participants. Please review the conference schedule carefully to understand departure times for the below options.

Campus Arrival: • Buses are available for delegates who indicated they will utilise transport from the conference hotels; The Novotel Impact, Best Western Wanda Grand and the IBIS. These buses will depart at the times indicated in the conference schedule. • Use of your personal car. Use the directions linked above to get to Nichada. When you arrive into Nichada Thani, you will need to leave an ID at the main Nichada gate. Then, proceed to ISB. Place a printed and signed copy of the Delegate Certificate in your car to access campus and keep it visible for the duration of the conference. • Use of a taxi service. Enter the neighborhood using the directions linked above. Your taxi driver will need to leave an ID at the main Nichada gate. The driver will proceed to school and drop you off at the school’s front gate– taxis are not allowed onto campus. Use a printed/signed Delegate Certificate to enter campus on your first day and then your EARCOS badge all other days.

* Note: Thailand does not use Uber rather they use Grab Taxi. If you choose to use a private service or Grab Taxi be sure to provide the directions linked above to the driver to ensure the taxi comes in the main Nichada gate. You will not be allowed in any other neighborhood entrances.
