The Jelly King
A story made up and illustrated by the children of Beverton Preschool with a little help from Jane!

The Jelly King lived in Jelly land in a Jelly Castle with the Jelly Queen and the Jelly Princess.
There were loads of Jelly people, Jelly children and even jelly Soldiers.

One night the King was going to bed. He laughed and made jokes.
The King jumped up behind the cook and shouted “ROAR BOO�!

The poor Cook wobbled and dropped her jelly tea all over the floor.
She told the King off and said she would not bring him any jelly tea that night as he was so naughty!

When the Jelly King fell asleep the children sneaked in and ate a big bite of his jelly belly!
They had to hold their hands over their mouths to stop laughing out loud.

When the Jelly King woke up in the morning he shouted “who ate my jelly belly?�

The Jelly King asked the fairies to cast a spell and put all the jelly children asleep.

The Jelly King checked that all the children were asleep and then after taking the deepest breath, he
let out the loudest “ROAR BOO” you have ever heard!! - Jane
The children woke with such a fright that they all did jelly poos in their jelly shoes. - Oisín
The Jelly King was laughing and laughing and went to the kitchen to get some jelly tea.
The Jelly King was laughing so much he wobbled his jelly tea all over himself.
