easa010 On the 31st July 2010, for two weeks, 400 young international architects from over 40 countries worldwide will descend on Manchester for the 30th annual European Architecture Students Assembly. In the footsteps of previous easa assemblies, easa010 will blend architectural innovation with the Mancunian spirit to bring something extraordinary to the people of Manchester and their city. What is the European Architecture Students Assembly? The assembly centres around workshops, producing work investigating the host city. There will be world class lectures from leading names in the world of architecture, art & design, urbanism and more.

We are working closely with Manchester’s public authorities to bring easa010 to the people of the city. During the assembly, specially arranged events allow public access to the most inspiring by-students-for-students event of its kind and scale.
easa010 will culminate with a city wide exhibition in the public realm and leading galleries, of the outputs from the assembly workshops, including the public’s input.

Our architects need a home for the two week duration of easa010. We need approximately 1000m2 of covered floorspace in or around Manchester city centre. This will become the core accommodation for our guests. If you can propose any sites, please contact us at our office/gallery.
