Unbuilt is an exhibition that fits with the stride of our times, recognising that emerging architectural talent is struggling to find a place within the industry. Each year produces a batch of recent graduates with fresh ideas and new portfolios. This exhibition champions a selection of these architects as they explore elements of their creativity and renew their passions. UNBUILT... easaHQ, Manchester Public Preview: Friday 7 May (69pm). Exhibition continues: 8 - 15 May 2010. Part of Future Everything and Manchester Architecture & Design Festival.

Almost a decade ago, undergraduates commenced architecture degrees amid a booming economic climate. Now, as these students graduate into a recession, and as architecture takes the biggest hit of any professional group, Blank Media Collective believe this is an exciting opportunity to showcase their work.

Conference As part of the build up to EASA the team is holding a conference of UK students at the Manchester School of Architecture. The conference — F o r Students By Students — will cover the importance of augmenting the university experience with self actuated and realised projects and collaborative workshops. The conference is supported by Standing Conference of Heads of Schools of Architecture (SCHOSA) who, with the team, are keen to see the energy of EASA converted into a politicised student organisation for the UK.
