Rome - Naples - Sorrento - Amalfi Capri - Positano - Ravello
Welcome to Italy ! Day 1 Arrive at Rome Airport. Your driver will transfer you from the airport to Sorrento with a stop in Naples to experience the delight of an authentic Napoletano pizza before continuing on to Sorrento. Upon arrival in Sorrento, check in to your 4 or 5 star hotel, for a three night stay in a double occupancy room.
Day 2 Full day tour along the Amalfi Coast. Your private driver will show you the magnificence of the area with stops in Positano, Amalfi and Ravello.
Day 3 Full day wine tasting tour within Campania Region. Visit the hometowns of two of the best and most famous wines of the area such as Taurasi and Aglianico. Enjoy two separate winery tours and tastings as well as a light lunch at one of the wineries. This normally includes typical appetizers, a pasta dish with local sauce and a dessert or cheese tasting depending on location.
Day 4
Private boat tour to Capri. Roundtrip transportation from hotel to port. Private boat with English speaking skipper. Drinks, snacks, towels, snorkeling equipment included. Tour around the island, visit the White and Green Grottos. Entrance to Blue Grotto is weather/sea condition dependent and entrance fees are separate.
Day 5 Full day tour to Paestum and Buffalo Mozzarella Farm. A truly unique experience in Paestum with a visit to the archaeological ruins and local museum with a professionally licensed, English speaking guide. As well as a tour of a local buffalo mozzarella farm where you will take a tour of the site, learn the cheese making process and ultimately delight in a tasting of the product as well as a light lunch on-site.
Day 6
Check-out of Sorrento hotel. Your driver will transfer you from Sorrento to Rome with a stop in Pompeii en route. Enjoy a private, two hour guided tour of Pompeii with a professionally licensed, English speaking guide. Entrance tickets included. Continue on to Mt. Vesuvius and hike up to the crater for a panoramic view of the Bay of Naples. Continue on to Rome where you will check in to your 4 or 5 star hotel, for an overnight night stay in a double occupancy room. Day 8 Departure from Italy 😔 . Private transfer from Rome hotel to FCO Rome Airport.
