Addison Road – Home of the Clan

As you will see from our history, we have a long tradition of being based at Addison Road. Its located within the Easington Community and is easily accessible for all. Over the last 5 years a number of ground improvements have taken place to ensure that we meet the FA ground grading requirements for Step 5 football. This includes the installation of floodlights, 100 spectator seating, covered standing area and a secured boundary.

For our youth teams we are lucky to be able to use our partnership with both BGN school and Wykham Park school for fixtures for all our teams to be on one site. ESFC does cover the cost of the majority of the ground work undertaken at these sites, we do so to ensure we try and offer the best pitches possible for our players.

We have also recently invested on new portable goals across all age groups. This is to ease the burden on goal areas in particular and to upgrade the current facilities. We plan to increase the number of goals purchased including those on wheels for 7v7 fixtures.

The club is in ongoing consltation with both CDC and OCC as to the potential redevelopment of its ground as the main clubhouse and changing facilities are no longer fit for purpose. This, in addition to the floodlight restrictions, mean that a move is likely to meet with the ambitions of the club. Watch this space…..
