Bridge Wobble Cross

The Bridge Wobble Cross is designed for children to be able to develop their balancing skills by walking and running across the bridge. You will need small tyres along with 3 bolts and budget paint. There is no need for cement as you can compact the earth to form the foundation around the tyres. Make sure you have at least 1.5 metres of space around the bridge wobble cross.

How to build 1. Drill and bolt 2 sets of 8 tyres together, 2 bolts between each tyre, in a line. 2. Using these two lines of tyres laying on the ground you can work out where the holes for the legs need to go. 3. Dig holes half the depth of the tyres for the number of legs you will have in a cross shape. 4. Bury the bottom half of leg tyres with the soil. 5. Place the two bolted rows of tyres on top of the ones buried in the ground and half burying the end tyres in the ground. 6. Secure the top tyres by bolting the top row into the buried tyres in the ground using a power drill. Each leg has 4 bolts going into it, two from each tyre. 7. Drill or cut holes for water drainage in all tyres. 8. Paint Colour Scheme Our suggested colour scheme would be to paint the tyres either two or three alternating colours.
