Bridge Zig-Zag

The Bridge Zig-Zag is designed for children to be able to develop their balancing skills by walking and running across the bridge. You will need small tyres along with 3 bolts and budget paint. There is no need for cement as you can compact the earth to form the foundation around the tyres. Make sure you have at least 1.5 metres of space around the Z bridge.

tyre, in a line. Using these three lines of tyres you can work out where the holes for the legs need to go by laying them in the pattern on the ground. Dig holes to half the depth of the tyres for the number of legs you will have in a cross shape. Bury the bottom half of tyres with the soil. Place the three bolted rows of tyres on top of the ones buried in the ground and half burying the end tyres in the ground as shown in the diagram. Secure the top tyres by bolting the top row onto the buried tyres in the ground. Drill or cut holes for water drainage in all tyres. Paint. 1
