The Train is a fun and imaginative element for the children to enjoy in all sorts of ways. You will need 1.5” and 1” hollow section, iron sheet, metal barrels, small, medium and large tyres, metal and budget gloss paint. You will also need to cement in the foundations of the frame. Make sure you have at least 1.5 metres of space around the Train.

How to build 1. Weld the two parts of the train to the specifications above. 2. Dig foundations holes. 3. Before cementing in the frame, sand and paint with undercoat the section of metal that will be going in the foundation. 4. Cement in the two sections. 5. Paint the metal framework. 6. Add the iron sheets to the train with rivets. 7. Make a hole in the 2” pipe and weld the 1.5” pipe to it at a right angle so it can pass through the front window of the train. 8. Make a cone from the mild steel sheet with a small end diameter of 2” and weld to the top of the 2“ pipe. 9. Cement in place the pole at the front of the train. 10. Place in the large, medium and small tyre at the front of the train as shown in the diagram above. 11. Cut the metal barrels in half lengthways and fill with cement. 12. Place behind the train in a row to form carriages, dig holes for one small tyre each side, fill in and compact. 13. Add as many tyres as you want in a row behind and in front of the train as shown in the diagram above. 14. Paint.
