Tyre Climber
The Tyre Climber is an all-round favourite with children having loads of things they can do on it. You will need 2.5” 3mm mild steel pipe, small tyres, small chain, metal and budget paint. You will also need to cement in the foundations. Make sure you have at least 2 metres of space around the tyre climber

How to build 1. Using the instructions for building a large swing weld 2 A frames. 2. Connect the 2 A frames with a cross bar. 3. Lay out 20 tyres in a grid of 4x 5. Drill and bolt all of these tyres together with two bolts on each joint. 4. Paint the tyres. 5. Dig the foundations for the frame. 6. Before cementing in the frame, sand and paint with undercoat the section of metal that will be going in the foundation. 7. Cement in the frame. 8. Paint the frame. 1

Dig a trench along the bottom of each side of the frame the depth of half a tyre. Place the wall of tyres in the trench and lay them on the frame. Bolt the wall of tyres to the frame and thread a chain through to attach it securely. Repeat step3-6 for the other side.
