The Tyre Wall is a great part of our adventure playground. You will need 2.5” 3mm mild steel pipe, small tyres, 3”and 6” bolts, budget and metal paint. You will also need to cement in the foundations. Make sure you have at least 1.5 metres of space around the wall.
Per tyre wall 3” bolts with 2 washers 6”screw bolts with 2 washers 5” bolts and washers 2mm chequer plate Small tyres 2.5” 3mm, mild steel pipe

How to build 1. Weld the frames as shown in the diagram. 2. Weld a piece of check plate to the horizontal end of the frame and drill a hole in each corner of it.. 3. Dig the foundations as shown 4. Drill the needed holes in the tyres and bolt them together using 2 3” bolts per touching tyre. 5. Before cementing in the frame, sand and paint with undercoat the section of metal that will be going in the foundation. 6. Cement in the frame. 7. Bolt the check plate to the anchor (e.g. tree) with the 6” screw bolts. 8. Once frame is fully cemented, attach the set of tyres to the frame using 2 4” bolts per tyre. Dig each bottom tyre completely in the ground and compact with soil. 1
9. Using the 5� bolts bolt the tyres to the frame. 10. Paint.
