C3Arts Radio Content Cultural Arts Interviews Interviews with members of the cultural arts community comprise the primary portion of C3Arts content. Creatives from the “emerging” to the “established” are becoming increasingly aware that C3Arts Radio is a platform through which they will encounter a thoughtful environment and a receptive audience for their work. Visual, performing and literary artists; arts administrators; academics; social and cultural entrepreneurs; culinary artists; comedians and other members of the creative community form the primary source of interview subjects. The theme of many C3Arts programs are built around guests that are working on current projects thus making C3Arts an essential part of their promotional campaigns. C3Arts has conducted interviews with over 120 movers and shakers from the world of arts and culture.

Professional and amateur storytellers are invited to share stories that are entertaining and intellectually edifying. Storytelling diversifies program content and reinforces the pedagogical and community oriented values of C3Arts and WNYE. Music Curation | C3Arts Radio Music Hour Music plays a foundational role in C3Arts production. Each program features curated musical selections that reflect the artistic diversity that defines C3Arts thematically. Musical selections reflect a wide variance of genres and often correlate to program guests and themes. The C3Arts Radio Hour programs are periodically broadcast to highlight this musical emphasis.

C3Arts Radio C3Arts Radio Host: Phillip Harvey Phillip Harvey received a BA in English from Morehouse College and a MA in Arts Administration from Columbia University/ Teachers College. He is a Fellow of the National Endowment of the Arts (NEA) and US State Department International Visual Arts Institute as well as a JP Morgan Fellow in Arts Management. He is a regular contributor to the International Review of African American Art and managed the national arts research project Changing the Beat: A Study of the Worklife of Jazz Musicians, the NEA sponsored national study of jazz musicians. Former host of the BFM Film Festival in London, Phillip has curated and produced cultural events in Tokyo, New York, Hong Kong and London.

C3Arts Radio C3Arts Radio Associate Producer: Winston Brewington A graduate of Berklee College of Music and LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts, Winston is a New York based music and broadcast journalist with his hand on the pulse of arts and culture in his home city and beyond. In addition to his duties as co-producer of C3Arts Radio, Winston is a voice-over narrator for iHeartmedia and covers both the mainstream and independent music scenes for Earmilk.com.
