Her inspiration originates from the bright light of the Algarve, which inspires her daily painting. Smartamoves.pt real estate company is in its 3rd year of trading, alongside sister company Smartavillas.com, now in its 12th year of property management. During this time, the SMARTA family has been proud of its success, creating a business that is responsive, dynamic, and passionate about current and future property owners. The team is confident that their experience has taught them well, enabling the 2 business divisions to offer a clear understanding of the property market in the Eastern Algarve. It’s no secret that the last 12 months has been a huge challenge for East Algarve property sales and villa rentals. During this time, our team has remained strong, and upheld regular communications with clients to maintain a confidence that the property market will bounce back. With travel restrictions now being eased, we are seeing an uplift in holiday enquiries and simultaneously, a definite increase in requests to view properties - with the Eastern Algarve seemingly becoming more popular each week! To meet these anticipated demands, we are delighted to be growing our real estate team with the appointment of Lorraine Hodges. Lorraine joins us from a global real estate company and brings with her a wealth of experience in property sales and relocation, where she had a fabulous track record in the Algarve. Lorraine’s arrival strengthens the existing team of Mónica and Lydia, who together, will offer a combined determination to be completely focussed on customer needs. Her extensive experience also brings a new dimension to our marketing strategy with her knowledge of the US market, as well as evolving market trends in the current economic climate. Our property division Smartamoves is going from strength to strength. During the particularly challenging lockdown period, not only are we welcoming Lorraine, we have also taken advantage of the quieter time to adapt and develop new approaches. These include virtual tours, walk-round videos, face to face virtual meetings and an injection of energy into social media campaigns. Lorraine says “I am proud to become part of an already established team that is local, knowledgeable and 100% focused on helping clients.
