ARTIST OF THE MONTH: MAGDALENA MOREY

Magdalena Morey is a mixed media abstract expressionist Artist. Her seascapes are from the Algarve coastline and islands and her figuratives are exceptionally popular. A truly international artist, Magdalena Morey was born and trained in Lublin, Poland and after many years of living in both the UK and Switzerland, she now lives and works in rural Spain. With a keen love of colour and texture, Magdalena pours excitement, anticipation and even the occasional tinge of loneliness into her abstract expressionist paintings, reflecting the emotional ups and downs that accompany a life of traveling. Using a variety of different media, including pastels, watercolours, gold leaf and acrylics, Magdalena creates landscapes and figurative artworks that are beautifully eloquent and exploding with life.
