CHILDREN’S CORNER BUDDHA PURNIMA
Buddha Purnima is celebrated in remembrance of Lord Buddha. This festival is a sign of peace. It is the biggest celebration among the followers of Buddha.
An interesting fact about this day is, the birthday of Buddha and the date of his enlightenment is the same. It also marks the death anniversary of Gautam Buddha. He was known as ‘Siddharth’ before his enlightenment. He started a new religion called ‘Buddhism’.

Ingredients:
Mango Souffle
Method:
1. To begin, soak the gelatin in half a cup of warm water. Mix well and keep aside.
2. Take the ice cream in a large bowl and add in the mango pulp, cream, powdered sugar, and the soaked gelatin.
3. Mix with an electric mixer until the mixture is blended well. Do not whip it too much

making sure the ice cream does not melt completely.
4. Transfer the mixture into serving bowls and refrigerate for a few hours until set. Once set, top it with chopped mangoes and a sprig of mint.
5. The Mango Souffle is ready to serve.
Method:
1. Start by cutting the watermelon into triangles.
2. Once they’re cut, insert the popsicle sticks into the watermelon rind. You may need a knife to make a cut first to make it easier.
3. Drizzle with melted dark chocolate and sprinkle the chocolate chips.
4. Set them in the fridge for several minutes until the chocolate has hardened. Enjoy your treat.
