St Andrew’s Prep is a school full of energy, achievement and community spirit and this term has been packed with events that reflect the very best of our school. One highlight was our much-loved St Andrew’s Day, where Year 8 pupils hosted games and activities for the younger pupils before the always-anticipated Talent Show complete with a staff dance routine that brought the house down!
In the classroom, our new assessment system has strengthened parent communication and supported pupil progress. On the sports field, our 1st football team and girls' 1st VII hockey team reached national finals, cementing our reputation for excellence. The Art and DT departments have flourished and with rehearsals for Moana and High School Musical underway - these all showcase our pupils' creativity and talent
In the penultimate week of term, we welcomed a team of Independent School inspectors, who saw the school at its very best While we await the final report, I can feedback that they praised the kindness of our pupils and the warm community they experienced
As the festive season arrived, magical performances from nativity plays to carol services brought joy to children, families and staff alike.
Now, as the school rests and recharges, we look forward to January, when the energy, friendships and fun of a new term begin again.
