START WITH US. WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED.

✓ Resources and Support

Sit down for a conversation with your transfer advisor, enjoy interactive hands-on classes, and take advantage of robust student services like tutoring and counseling. Studies show community college transfers do just as well, or better, than students who started at a four-year college.

✓ Personalized to You

Get a local, flexible education, and instructors who get to know you and your goals. At EICC, you can pursue your interests, explore career fields, and take classes that get you one step closer to your four-year major.

✓ Same High Quality, Less Cost

A great education doesn’t have to cost a six-figure price tag. EICC meets the same strict accreditation standards as four-year universities. Our curriculum, faculty, and student resources are just as high quality. You spend less to achieve your goals.

✓ Transfer Scholarships

Earning a two-year degree at EICC puts you in a great position to get scholarships when you transfer. Many four-year colleges and universities, as well as private donors, put money aside for students just like you.

TRANSFER AGREEMENTS

Iowa’s three state universities, as well as a long list of public and private colleges, have partnered with us to make your transfer successful. These aren’t handshake deals; we have formal written agreements that spell out all the details.

You can follow a traditional transfer plan, joint enrollment, or enroll in a statewide Transfer Major. No matter what path you choose, earn any AA or AS degree from EICC and the credits will transfer as general education, electives, or core major courses.

Studies show community college students who transfer into a four-year do better than the students who started there as freshmen. You get a remarkable education and remarkable head start at EICC.

Statewide Transfer Major Associate’s Degrees

The Transfer Major program was created in partnership with Iowa’s community colleges, public universities, and many private colleges. We want you to be successful at EICC and after you transfer, so we’ve simplified the process.

Enroll in an EICC Transfer Major program, and the credits and courses you take are all prearranged. In most cases, you will wipe out required general education at EICC as well as take classes tied to your major. Complete the path as it is laid out, and all of your credits will transfer.
