ONLINE OPTIONS DESIGNED TO MEET YOUR NEEDS: Live Online - If you like attending class at a specific time and learn best with face-to-face interaction, our Live Online classes are for you. Utilizing video conferencing, you’ll be able to interact with a live instructor and your fellow classmates. Online Anytime - If you prefer to work at your own pace, night or day, Online Anytime is the traditional online format, allowing you to access materials 24/7 and communicate with your instructor and classmates entirely through chat or email. Thanks to our partnership with other Iowa community colleges in the Iowa Community College Online Consortium (ICCOC) you can earn your Associate in Arts (AA) Degree entirely online. Both formats provide the utmost flexibility, while still giving you the benefit of a real instructor, access to advising, tutoring and all other services available to our students.


PICK YOUR PATH Transfer Programs: Associate in Arts (AA) Associate in Science (AS) Provides first two years of study for those students who plan to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree at a four-year institution.

Career and Technical Education (CTE): Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Prepares students to enter the job market after graduation by providing the appropriate training. Transfer options are also available.

Short-term Programs: Diplomas and Certificates Provides training that can be completed in two years or less and will lead directly to unemployment. List is subject to change as new programs become available.

You may still be wondering how you’ll pay for college. This is often the most stressful part for some students, but securing the funding is easier than you think. EICC offers several options, and our team will help you through every step of the process.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Federal Student Aid is the largest provider of financial aid in the nation. It provides grants, loans and work study funds each year to millions of students. To qualify for federal student aid, you need to complete the FAFSA. The priority filing deadline for FAFSA is March 1. However, you can complete the FAFSA for the next school year starting on October 1 prior to starting college. You’ll find everything you need to know at eicc.edu/fafsa

College Work Study

Federal College Work Study allows you to earn money to help you in funding your education. These are typically part-time jobs both on and off campus.

Loans

Student loans are borrowed funds that must be paid back, including interest and fees. You must also be enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours. Visit eicc.edu/paying to explore all of your options and check out additional resources.

SCHOLARSHIPS Foundation Scholarships Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges offer numerous scholarship opportunities to help you with college costs. You should apply! There is something for everyone, not just the top of the class. While some scholarships are based on academic excellence, many others are based on factors such as financial need, community involvement, leadership or area of study. To apply for EICC Foundation Scholarships visit eicc.edu/scholarships Scholarship Application Deadline March 1 (Fall) or November 1 (Spring)

Last Dollar Program You can have your tuition paid! If you plan on earning a Certificate, Diploma or Associate’s Degree in one of Iowa’s high-demand jobs, this program will cover the cost of your tuition. The Last Dollar Program will be part of your federal and state aid package and fills in the gap if other state and federal programs do not cover the entire cost. More than two dozen of our programs are eligible, to see complete details and if your area of study is included visit eicc.edu/lastdollar

Connections Scholarship If you’re an area high school student who has completed concurrent-enrolled classes with EICC you probably qualify for a CONNECTIONS Scholarship. The CONNECTIONS scholarships offer three generous levels of funding based on college credit earned and GPA in those classes. You could qualify for up to half your first year tuition! Learn more at eicc.edu/connections Scholarship Application Deadline March 1 CONNECTIONS Scholarships offer three levels: Half tuition scholarship for your first two semesters with EICC after high school graduation. CRITERIA: 3.0 EICC College GPA - with a minimum of 12 college credits earned.

Campus Visits

A campus visit is much more than a tour. Being on-campus, whether in-person or virtually, gives you the uniquely personal feel of our colleges. You'll find out more about what makes us THE Community's College: •• Learn about transfer programs and articulation agreements with four-year colleges. •• Take a campus tour. •• Find out about scholarships and financial aid opportunities. •• Meet faculty and staff. Campus visits are available at all of our main college campus locations for Clinton, Muscatine and Scott Community Colleges, as well as the SCC Urban Campus and Blong Technology Center. We're also offering Virtual Visits with both group and individualized sessions. Sessions will be delivered via Zoom or Facebook Live which doesn't require any additional software. You will need a microphone to be able to ask questions but the normal mic on your phone or tablet works just fine. (You don't need a camera but it's great if you have one so we can see your beautiful smile as we talk to you.)
