I got the music in me! The Music Suite has been providing music lessons to Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs for over 10 years.

Their aim is to instil the love of music in every student they teach and to make music lessons affordable and enjoyable. The Music Suite was started in the Rose Bay area by Jennifer Barrett, a talented performer and school teacher. It caters for all types of students and will create individual programs to make sure they achieve their objectives. The Music Suite has grown over the years by word-of-mouth and Facebook so that Jennifer now works with schools all around Sydney, tailoring music programs for children of all ages.
Is your child ready to start school?
There are 18 tutors at The Music Suite and all are highly trained and have considerable experience teaching and performing.
Starting school is a big step for parents and children! The Begin Bright School Readiness program works to support the transition by giving your little learner a boost of confidence.
There are lessons for all types of instruments, as well as, Singing, Song Writing, HSC preparation, Glee, Pop Choir and Adult vocals.
Begin Bright was established in 2008, and has grown to 30 centres across Australia, with a mission to create happy, smart and confident children.
The classes include private tuition, group classes, adult lessons, holiday workshops, masterclasses and kinder classes.
The Begin Bright School Readiness Program was developed to ensure children starting school are given the best opportunity to make a smooth transition. Our range of School Readiness Programs for 2-5 year olds make learning fun and exciting, while being developmentally appropriate and aligned with the Australian National Curriculum.
The jewel in their crown is undoubtedly their summer camp held in January. Four straight days of nothing but music, with workshops providing a fun environment for all participants to improve their skill on their current instruments, learn the fundamentals of other instruments and meet new friends who share a passion for all things musical.

Anastasia Simos, is the director of Begin Bright Bondi and bought the franchise in 2015, after experiencing learning difficulties with her own child before starting school.
There 3 teachers at the centre, who are all primary school teachers with a total of 35 years experience between them. “What is wonderful about the business” says Anastasia, “Is seeing the development of a child who gains confidence and is happy and well prepared for when they start school.” The children are taught to confidently approach tasks, demonstrate an understanding of basic literacy and numeracy, work effectively in groups, follow instructions and develop independence. January School Readiness Intensive Program will run January 21-24 from 9:30am-11:30am.
