EXECUTIVE SUMMARY EWC experienced a 8.2% increase in total student headcount as compared to Summer 2011. The total student headcount of 463 students reflects an overall increase of 35 students. Full-time enrollment was down 29 students (93.5%). Part-time enrollment was up 64 students (16.1%). Full Time Enrollment (FTE) decreased by 22.00 (16.5%). Wyoming Law Enforcement Academy did not have any classes this summer which caused a 26 student and 32.33 FTE decline. EWC experienced an increase of 22.00 (16.5%) FTE compared to Summer 2011. Outreach had a decrease of 25.67 (33.74%) FTE. The total FTE distribution was 45% Outreach and 55% Goshen County. The number of high school students enrolled in EWC credit classes increased by 6 students compared to Summer 2011. The number of part-time high school students increased by 6 students. There have not been any full-time high school students in the last five years. Summer Distance Education Courses were up 10 sections, up three students, and up 3.42 FTE. Total Distance FTE for Summer 2012 increased 8.92% compared to Summer 2011. A total of 829 students enrolled in non-credit courses for Summer 2012. EWC served 102 students in continuing education courses and 730 students in community service courses. EWC's workforce development offerings for college credit decreased by 7 course sections compared to Summer 2011. The duplicated student headcount decreased by 88 students, and the FTE decreased by 24.16. Non-credit workforce development offerings decreased by 6 sections compared to Summer 2011. The number of enrollments decreased by 27 students and the total contact hours decreased by 216.5 hours.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT Workforce development activities are defined as any training and/or educational related service leading to the acquisition of skills necessary to perform the duties of a particular job for those individuals in or preparing to enter the workforce . Only those courses organized or coordinated by EWC's workforce development efforts are included in the following table by career cluster as defined by the National Association of State Directors of Career Technical Education Consortium. Credit Courses EWC's workforce development offerings for college credit decreased by 7 course sections compared to Summer 2011. The duplicated student headcount decreased by 88 students, and the FTE decreased by 24.16.
