Help to look after our protected areas
Around Whitehill & Bordon there are six environmental sites of European importance that require safeguarding. These valuable heathland and wooded habitats, including Broxhead Common and Woolmer Forest, are home to ground-nesting birds and all 12 of the U.K.’s native amphibians and reptiles. Many residents already value these areas but with the rising population, we encourage you to follow designated footpaths such as the Green Loop and to use the new green spaces including Bordon and Hogmoor Inclosures.
