ETBU Opens Great Commission Center

East Texas Baptist University opened the Great Commission Center by hosting generous donors of the project during a ceremony last Friday. The new home to the Fred Hale School of Business, Career Development Office, and Great Commission Center program, the Great Commission Center will be a hub for academic learning and discipleship training. Over 250 generous donors and friends joined faculty and staff in viewing the building, which is the physical manifestation of ETBU's core mission of developing Christian servant leaders and encouraging all believers to fulfill the Great Commission from Matthew 28:18-20.

Dittmar named 76th Senior Girl Call Out

Mollie Dittmar of Buffalo, Texas, was recognized during East Texas Baptist University’s 76th annual Senior Girl Call-Out. Selected by a faculty and staff vote, the senior student “called out” each year is distinguished for her exemplary Christian character, social consciousness, personal poise, academic achievement, and spiritual vision.
