SUPPORT

The Roan is empowered by the support of community leaders from across the region who serve on our Steering Committee and Regional Interview Committee. These committee members provide strategic direction, play an important role in the selection process, and engage with Roan Scholars and Alumni.

STEERING COMMITTEE TRANSITIONS:

Past Chair Sharon Boles, along with Josh Culbert ’10 and Alan Levine, rotated off the Committee this past summer after years of service to the Roan. Each brought valuable experience, insights, ideas, and energy to the Program, making the Roan even stronger through their involvement. We are exceedingly grateful to these three individuals for their interest in connecting with Scholars, their investment in these future leaders, and their commitment to the success of the Roan Program.

Additionally, Mark Kinser assumed the role of Vice-Chair on July 1, 2020. We thank him, current Chair Melissa-Steagall Jones, and all of the other Committee members for their exceptional leadership and service.
