It senses the size and quantity of food product, automatically selects the appropriate cooking mode (dry, moist or combination heat) and sets the temperature, time and humidity levels.

With features like overnight cooking and automatic self-cleaning, your Opus SelfCooking Center® can carry on working even when you are not. And then there’s CareControl. SelfCooking Mode The clear, easy-to-use, intuitive control panel presents a comprehensive array of food types and cooking styles. Simply select the food and how you want it cooked. Then leave the rest to the SelfCooking Center®.

Choose SelfCooking mode and allow the Opus SelfCooking Center® to take control of the entire cooking process, or with the push of a button, you can assume full control by switching the system to Combi Steamer mode. In this mode, you can use the machine as a high-spec combi steamer using familiar controls for humidity, temperature and time.

Combi Steamer Mode Select Combi Steamer mode if you want to retain full control of the cooking process. In this mode, you define the cooking process and set temperature, humidity levels and cooking times.

CareControl saves time, money and cares for the environment CareControl is a highly innovative system. It monitors the precise individual usage of the Opus SelfCooking Center® and prompts the user to run the CleanJet+care system when – and only when – cleaning is required. It detects soiling levels and indicates the optimum level of CleanJet+care cleaning required. This can range from a light rinse to a thorough deep clean if, for example, the unit has been extensively used for grilling. By saving energy, water and chemical usage, CareControl saves you money and is kinder to the environment. CareControl also eliminates the need for costly water filters and softeners. The unique Care tablets contain special scale-dissolving ingredients to inhibit limescale build up in the steam generator. • Saves you money - eliminates the need for costly water filters and softeners, cuts costs on cleaning agents • Saves you time – the system indicates when cleaning is required – and the optimum level
