ROSS WILLIAMS “On the PWA scene, now more than ever I need to accelerate all the time- off the start line, in the gusts and out of the cor- ners. If I move slow, someone will pass me. I can’t accept that. We worked hard to get these boards into high gear and we have found it”

SPEEDSTER When you want the best of both worlds, top speed and freeride easiness, look no further than the SPEEDSTER! The development of these boards comes right from the Manta range for speed and the Rocket range for ma- neuverability. You get it all in one great range of boards! A plethora of footstrap locations allow you to custom set up the board for your particular style and water conditions.
PASCAL TOSELI “The Speedster makes me smile! I can blast down the UHDFK DQG SDVV P\ IULHQGV DQG MLEH OLNH D KHUR , ÀQG these boards to be the ultimate free ride fun machine “
BOTTOM LINE Freeriding on Steroids! The Speedsters have proven de- sign features of the racing Manta shapes but with add- ed ease and comfort. No more excuses not to blast past your friends and smoke them around the turns!
BOARD DETAILS Ultra-fast and easy to handle make the Speedster shapes the perfect compromise to going fast and in control. If you are not racing in slalom events these boards are set up to have fast GPS times and give you an easy and con- trollable board. This years new 79 model raises the bar once again! All boards come with state of the art T- Lab Fins and you have a winning combination for the perfect freeride board, all in one package.
New Shape! The 79 gets all the love for 2014. On this board we have a new outline, new rocker, new bottom shape and new foil section. The outline is inspired from the Manta 81 2013 but with a much narrower tail and totally new cutout that reduces the drag. It stays wide very far back and then suddenly gets narrow with this special tail. This gives a lot of acceleration in the front part and good top speed when fully on the tail. The rocker is the same as the Manta 71 and the V is dif- ferent to get easier access to top end speed with more control. The great 2013 shapes of the Speedster 69, 75, 85 and 89 stay current for 2014.

THUNDER Fabien wanted to create a range of boards for the aver- age sailor to maximize water time. A range that didn’t need to be sailed overpowered, something that would plane up early and still go fast. “I came up with this concept when looking at some old Ferrari Hydroplane Boats. I read up on them and they have a wide nose to get air under them to help with planing and keeping minimal surface area on the water to reduce drag!” says Fabien. This all new range is designed to make water time more fun, more effortless and more FAST!
BOTTOM LINE A performance board designed to be ridden without being overpowered. Any rider that used to sail with a 6,5 to 7,2 on a Manta FR 75 in 15-18 knots of wind will be much faster on a Thunder 120 while having a much better time on the water! Step on the board, sheet in, go fast and have fun.
CEDRIC BORDES “We spent a lot of time getting these boards to work OLNH WKH\ GR $W ÀUVW , ZDV QRW FRQYLQFHG EXW DIWHU PRUH and more R&D, Fabien proved his point and now these boards are going to be very popular. With the Thunder, we will bring back a lot more riders that have previously been scared by the speed of the Manta boards. The best way to describe these boards is…..awesome because they plan like a Thunder in all kind of conditions and allow you to have a smaller sail than before, so you spend more time on planning than before and you save energy!”

It looked just like a Ferrari Hydroplane boat! It was super quick to plane but we couldn’t jibe it very well. We kept working and smoothed out all the kinks in the outline and have found the perfect equation!” says Fa- bien. FREE AND EASY ROCKET We invested 24 month to make the mission impossible possible. For 2014, the super popular Rocket range sees three new shapes in the 115, 125 and 135 with even better performance (faster, more early planning and better acceleration) without loosing any good points from the past! A perfect balance of speed and acceleration, maneuverability and control; these boards continue to raise the bar for any freeride board. Our test winning boards prove to be hard to beat, this coming from the shaper himself! “We wanted to make sure these new shapes are notice- ably better and we have found more magic!” said Fabien.
ROSS WILLIAMS “The Rocket is one of my favorite boards to develop. We get to take ev- erything we learn from all the boards we shape and put them into this one complete range. When riding these boards, you feel the water moves out of your way and all you have to do is hang on and go as fast as you want- the control is there. When sailing is easy, you know you are going fast! The ROCKETS will take you to the moon! “

BOARD DETAILS We concentrated on getting better performance while not loosing any of the easy side to these boards. To do this we used what we learned about outline and V distribution working with the team on the Manta. So to get more power we have reduced the V on the tail to get more power in low wind, we have increased the width of the outline around the front foot area while mak- ing the tail outline narrower. So we get great planing, great acceleration and very good top speed. We kept our signature Tabou nose dou- ble concave to get our famous “soft touch” over the chop that makes the boards so easy. We also kept our smooth rocker and rail foil distribution that makes this range so easy and predictable in the turns.
Perfect Rocker for smoother planing, better non ac- tive planing balance Balanced V and concave: More acceleration, keeps you planing better through wind holes and generates more top speed More volume and wider in the tail: Better acceleration, more power in wind holes, better upwind
BOTTOM LINE The Rocket and Rocket LTD are made for freeriders who want it all! More speed, more power, more FUN!

TONKY FRANS “Its fun from the moment you step on- this baby is sooooo EASY!”
BOTTOM LINE Summer fun with the family or just a day at the beach, the Cool Rider is the perfect board to have some fun!
Schools all over the globe have noted the ease of use with this board. We have taken all the feedback from our big surf school team and found the perfect blend of function for what these boards need to do! The focus, of course, it is as easy as possible for beginners to make, but no one has fun with a board that will be boring after 5 days. The EVA deck makes it perfect for beginners and longboard freestyle. The handle in the nose makes it easy to carry to the beach and lots of rub- ber damping ensures a long life. 100% EVA deck grab handle in the front
New Cool Rider 230
Our big bertha, this board is ultra stable because of its 100cm width. It has an ultra- comfortable deck when riding in the center of the board because of the double deck. In fact the dome deck in the center is the deck of our Rocket 135 that has been “glued” on the board in the CAD design program. It gives extra volume on the tail while allowing a thin- ner rail in that section to make jibes easier.
Features of this new shape:
Long super smooth cad design rocker: Easy gliding and planing wide Outline 100cm super stable 230 liter can teach anybody deep front V smooth over choppy water long dagger board easy upwind double deck in tail comfort and easy jibing
